A computer system analyst helps a company or other organization to use computer technology effectively and efficiently. He or she integrates new technology into a company's current system after performing a cost-benefit analysis to determine if it is financially sound and will serve the company well.

There are three types of computer system analysts, System designers or architects find technical solutions that meet the long-term goals of a company or organization. Software quality assurance analysts (QA) examine and diagnose problems in computer systems. Programmer analysts develop and write code for software that meets the needs of their employers or customers.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is usually required. It is also advantageous to have a background in the industry in which you want to work, e.g. B. Finance. Because this profession integrates business and technology, some employers prefer to employ applicants with a master's degree in business administration (MBA) who focus on computer systems. You must acquire a master's degree in computer science if you are looking for a more technical job. Regardless of where you work, you need to keep up with trends in the IT industry.
