SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (C / Delphi) and PROJECT MANAGER (C / Delphi)
Our client is a globally operating medium-sized company in the field of special machine construction. The core business is the development and manufacture of systems for very precise micro assembly and professional post-processing of SMD. Our client works closely with clients from a variety of industries, including aerospace, medicine and biotechnology, consumer electronics, the semiconductor industry, optoelectronics and defense, as well as universities and research institutions. Over 150 committed employees work at the Berlin headquarters. Additional sales and service centers are located in Dresden, Gilbert (AZ), Manchester (NH), Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo.
Tasks:
- You maintain and develop our established machine operating applications under Windows OS.
- They design and code new software modules to improve machine functionality.
- You work closely with product management.
- You will work independently on selected topics in the overall complex of machine and system control.
- You build future software applications, including software architecture and UX design.
- They create and revise technical documentation and descriptions of the developed software.
- When implementing, pay attention to quality, reusability and code coverage.
- You maintain and develop our software solutions.
Profile:
- Degree in computer technology, electrical engineering / communication / automation.
- Engineering or proven experience in the development of large software projects.
- Coding experience on Windows systems in larger projects for external customers.
- Sound knowledge of the programming language C .
- Sound knowledge of the Delphi programming language or willingness to learn programming in Delphi.
- Affinity for automation technology and its implementation in software (sequence control, drive interfaces, CAN).
- Structured, responsible and reliable way of working.
- Team and communication skills, determination, good abstraction skills.
- Contribution of own ideas and skills.
Additional skills and / or experience required:
- Programming of microcontrollers
- Real-Time Systems
- Linux systems
- Good to very good knowledge of English.
